The Goat Pass-on Project, led by Chief Principal Mponela in Chilumba and conducted by Phunzirani Development Organisation, is a community-based initiative aimed at improving the livelihoods of rural families. The project operates by distributing goats to vulnerable households, with the condition that each family passes on the first female offspring to another household in need. This cycle of giving promotes sustainability, strengthens community ties, and provides families with a reliable source of income and nutrition.
